Data controls

Delete local data or disconnect Plex

Remove Omnibrary data from your headset

  1. Open Omnibrary Settings.
  2. Choose Sign out of Plex to remove the saved Plex session. Downloads and other local files remain available to the same profile if you reconnect.
  3. To permanently remove everything, choose Delete all local Omnibrary data and confirm. This removes the session, downloads, playlists, history, in-app diagnostic exports, layout, settings, Describe search index, Game Deck progress, and saved website cookies and storage.
  4. You can also use Meta’s app storage controls to clear Omnibrary data, or uninstall Omnibrary.
These steps delete local Omnibrary data. They do not delete your Plex account, Plex Media Server, or media files on your server.

Files you added

Choose Forget video in Local Videos to remove its entry and retained read access. This does not delete the original video from your headset or file provider. Delete all local Omnibrary data also removes imported references, local subtitle files, and prepared 3D data.

Website data and accounts

Closing Game Deck or signing out of Plex does not clear website cookies or storage. Use Delete all local Omnibrary data to remove that data from the headset. This does not delete accounts or information held by websites you visited; use each website’s own privacy controls. Copies of diagnostics or other files that you exported or shared outside Omnibrary must be removed separately.

Delete a Plex account

Plex owns and operates Plex accounts. To request account deletion, use Plex’s account and privacy controls at plex.tv. Omnibrary cannot delete a Plex account for you.
